The Las Cruces Museum of Natural History is dedicated to broadening people’s understanding of natural history, science, and the environment of New Mexico and the Chihuahuan Desert. We are located in the Mesilla Valley Mall, next to J.C. Penney's. Educational programs, exhibits, and guided Chihuahuan tours for children and adults are offered throughout the year. Our Chihuahuan Desert Nature Center houses more than 40 live animals from our area. Open Hours: Monday-Thursday 10 am - 5 pm, Friday 10 am - 8 pm, Saturday 10 am - 5 pm, Sunday 1 pm - 5 pm
