they seem to be to high priced for our budget

Bloody & cold hamburger, nasty garlic mashed potatoes. Ribs were cold. The wait staff was very apologetic but the cooking staff needs to get their act together. The other Applebees in Las Cruces is much better.
One of the best Restaurant chains

You can't go wrong at Applebee's. Contrary to what the general description says for this restaurant, Applebee's seems more like a couple's, friends, and or co-workers type place. Don't see too many kids there at all. The food is not your down home meat and potatoes. The menu is filled with tasty modern cuisine. The house steak is pretty decent. I don't recommend the Burboin Steak, it was just gross. My husband ordered it and could not eat it. I tried it as well with similar results.
